Michael is a professional portrait painter who lives in London, England. He is a member of the Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers.

In his portraits Michael is striving to achieve both high degree of likeness and good representation of subject’s character. His artworks always tell stories about the subjects.

 

Oil painting is his chosen medium and realism - his preference in style. He keeps an open mind and learns from other artists and old masters in particular.

 

Michael’s historical paintings, apart from being intrinsically enjoyable, make great conversation pieces about the characters and places depicted.
